Specialization: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Practice Description: I offer body-inclusive and trauma informed therapy services, with a focus on working with clients who live in larger bodies. Topic areas of interest include managing anxiety symptoms, Highly Sensitive Persons (HSP), and positive embodiment. I am open to working with folks who experience disordered eating as well as those who do not identify as having an eating disorder but notice that concern about weight and body image significantly impair their mental health and ability to feel at ease with themselves. My main goal in working with all clients is to help in developing a sense of self acceptance and to build on already existing strengths to help navigate life's challenges. I utilize a social-justice lens in my work and aim to address how oppression impacts mental health symptoms. I am a White, queer, fat therapist who is poly and trans affirming.

Specialization: Licensed Psychotherapist (TAG)
Practice Description: Specializing in helping people develop sustainable coping, emotional resiliency, self-compassion and joyfulness about themselves and life.
Almost 14 years of experience providing therapy for diverse populations with eating disorders in a large healthcare system in Southern California. I have helped people recover from eating disorders, compulsive exercising, and chronic disrupted relationships with their body and food.
Eating disorders rarely develop in isolation. For this reason, I have also trained extensively to enable people to find relief and recovery from depression, anxiety, trauma, and work/relational stressors. Those with gender dysphoria and people identifying as LGBTQIA+ may have higher incidences of eating disorder symptoms. I have sensitively explored these intersections with many people.
Special interest in working with therapists seeking their own therapy.
